Comedy for Expats - @TheReginaldBarris
Below are a few comedy videos that have helped bolster my brand a stand-up comedian. I've created hundreds of similar clips, which have garnered millions of likes from a 100K cross-platform following. The most interesting insight from this project was seeing jokes resonate differently in-person and online. Learning how spot 'magic moments' and clarify narratives to shine in this new medium has become an invaluable that now informs my process when creating any type of content.

I worked directly with MET's marketing department to identify their target demographics and create content strategies and video formats for those audiences. Our goal was to create engaging and shareable content that was 'algorithm-friendly' instead of typical 'informative but dry' explainers. Below are a few pilots for formats that would broaden their potential audience, while aligning with their brand identity.
Sugar Daddy Meet
The following is a series of collaborations with Sugar Daddy Meet, where they requested custom stand-up material to lightly 'roast' their dating app. This is a brilliant example of a brand understanding and embracing its public perception of 'sugar daddies' by making themselves the butt of the joke and trusting the right audience will admire their candor. I worked directly with the brand to strike the right balance of tone when scripting, before taking the lead in filming, editing, and scheduling the content.
